The big winter debate: Down VS Polyester!

We stock a variety of different puffer jackets here at Corner Store, however the main one you might see is the Huffer Puffer!

The Huffer Puffer has two different fill types; Down or Repreve (also known as recycled plastic or polyester). Down and polyester offer different strengths for different purposes and priorities. 

Down, in Huffers case derived from duck feathers, provides a superior warmth and a high warmth-to-weight ratio. With proper care your down jacket or vest can last you for decades! We recommend washing your Huffer down jackets inside out in the washing machine then ALWAYS put them through a cycle in the dryer to puff them back out and ensure they are 100% dry inside.

Polyester in your Huffer Puffer is made from recycled plastic bottles, saving over 40 billion bottles so far! Synthetic insulation still provides great warmth but may be slightly heavier than your down filled puffers. These puffers do come at a more affordable price making it a great choice to keep you warmer on a budget this winter.
